My AZURE Magazine

For my first major InDesign project, I endeavoured to create a unique issue of AZURE Magazine, a Toronto-based publication that features contemporary international architecture and design. This is my very own May/June 2014 edition with a focus on eco-friendly projects.

I recreated the grids, the layouts, the line art, the typography and the type hierarchy. All of the advertisements were created by me, and the articles were all self-written. The photos from my feature on the Meera Sky Garden House came from Guz Architects; the images of the Crossway Passivhaus were obtained from Hawkes Architecture. I've also featured Skram's Corkdrop Stools and Brothers Dressler's Lululemon Yorkdale facade. The photographs in the Moncer, Moen and Benjamin Moore ads are stock.

Thank you to my friends Meghan Young, Jeremy Gutsche, Katie Sokalsky and Susie Julia, and to Heather Roblin for contributing quotes and personal work for inclusion in my AZURE issue.
